Finally, a post!

Well, I think I started this blog about 6 months ago, and here's my first post.

So, I signed up for the ravelympics, and was really planning on working on lots of my works in progress (wip's) so that I could continue my goal of getting rid of my stash before I start buying anything new. I also made a kind of agreement with myself that I wouldn't start any new projects until I get through a majority of what I have on the needles. All good intentions, and the only think I've finished is a pair of mittens. I got most of one sock done for Adam, and so far two rows of my razor cami. Here's what I have on the needles right now:

1 small mitered square blanket
Dollar and a half cardigan (I think I have to start this one over again)
Gathered Pullover (needs sleeves)
Hedgerow Socks
Adam's Socks
Charade Socks
Pink Alpaca socks (first sock was knitted 3 years ago)
One Skein Purse
Razor Cami
Feather and fan scarf (two versions, though I really don't like one and need to frog it and give away the yarn)
Duffle coat (supposed to be for a baby that is now 5 months old)
Weird braided concoction scarf

There are more, I'm sure. I have some really great stuff waiting for me to knit it - Briar Rose laceweight, merino/silk begging to be a clapotis, amazing sock yarn. But not until I finish some of this!

Which leads me to wonder - why do I start so many more projects that I ever finish? Do I not really love these patterns? Should I just frog some of these to get them off my back? Some are really close to being done (gathered pullover, duffel coat) others are not (feather and fan scarf). I need to finish some of these things!
